A lot can change in five years.
Five years ago, I would have never expected to be creating my own website, writing down my thoughts about music, politics, sports, and most importantly, life.
I’ve hopefully learned more about politics and history. I’ve seen the Raptors make it to the playoffs for three years in a row (and even make it to the Eastern Conference Finals). I’ve seen countless concerts and watched a ton of movies. I’ve had my identity questioned, friendships disappear, and my heart broken.
Yet here I am. Years older, but I doubt any wiser. Certainly more cynical. I have some extra skills, like understanding the Canada Not-for-Profit Corporations Act (2011) and some rudimentary HTML and CSS.
Why would anyone teach this fucking guy some HTML and CSS? Now I have a platform to write some words. Thanks a lot OCAD U.

Welcome to my space, my journal, my muse. Here, I’ll spend a lot of time contemplating ideas that pop in my head. Sometimes you’ll find that I’m quite introspective. Other times, I’ll write something ridiculous. And at other times, I might just want to share a link, a photo, or a random thought. This is a work in progress – I doubt it will ever be complete. Certain site elements are broken, but I’ll be working on them bit by bit. I hope to learn from this experience and grow, and I hope you will join me.
